SYDNEY, April 22 – Rachael Finch (20), a TV
presenter and model from Townsville, has been crowned
Miss Universe Australia 2009 during the annual beauty
pageant held in Sydney on Wndnesday April 22nd.
The 1.76 m beauty queen will compete at the Miss
Universe 2009 beauty pageant contest in the Bahamas next
August.
Originally from Townsville (Queensland), Finch beat more
than 7,000 entrants and 31 other finalists to take out
the title at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on Wednesday
night.
A beauty queen Finch, who now lives in Alexandria,
Sydney, works for Platinum Television, a company that
provides video contents for bars and events, and is an
ambassador for the Heart Foundation, the event
