Established in 1959, Academy of Foreign Affairs is the central country in the field of research and training in Viet Nam, as well as the network of global cooperation on international relations.
 
Academy are the main implementation research, forecasting strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the role advised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in planning foreign policy of the Party and State. At the same time, the Academy is the only state to the tasks of education officials working on External Affairs Ministry for Foreign Affairs, ministries and other departments.
